5 Reasons Why Most Bloggers Fail

There are so many blogs out there nowadays, but you’d be shocked at the number of bloggers who fail. I see so many blogs out there where the blogger is raring to go one minute and then suddenly stops posting altogether. Then their blog just sits there empty and abandoned. A lot of bloggers actually give up after the first few months of blogging.

Here are 5 reasons why most bloggers fail:

  1. Lack of passion. This seems to be the biggest reason why most bloggers fail. They don’t have any passion for blogging or the subject they write about. You need to be passionate about blogging and your chosen niche to have any kind of success.
  2. They only started blogging for money. You see so many blogging success stories and how bloggers are making five or six figure incomes from their blogs and so of course lots of people thought they would start a blog and the money would start rolling in, right? Wrong! Money shouldn’t be your only reason for starting a blog or you will quickly lose interest in it. Blogs aren’t just about making money. They should be your way of expressing yourself and establishing yourself as an authority in your chosen niche.
  3. Lack of creativity. As bloggers we must come up with creative ideas all the time on how to come up with new posts and new content. It can often be hard to come up with new ideas all the time. That’s where the passion aspect comes in. If you’re passionate about your chosen subject, you will never run out of blog post ideas.
  4. Lack of goals. A lot of bloggers don’t have any goals for their blogs. You need to plan out what you want to achieve in a certain amount of time. Do you want to grow your email list? Do you want to increase traffic to your blog? Do you want to sell services or products on your block? Having no goals for your blog will quickly make you lose interest.
  5. Not figuring out what they want to write about. This is a big one too. Many bloggers when their first starting out blog about so many different things that they quickly become overwhelmed or lose interest. Try to stick to just one or two subjects they you already know or that you are passionate about.

Try to learn from these points and you won’t set yourself up for failure.
