Do you ever feel like you’re publishing your blog posts and not getting anywhere? Traffic is one of the hardest things for bloggers to get and it’s the one thing we usually want most. Nothing’s worse than spending hours on your blog only to realise that no one is visiting it.

  1. Your Facebook page – your Facebook fan page is a great place to share your posts.
  2. Your newsletter – I don’t send my blog posts out to my newsletter all the time, but it’s a great way to share your content with your readers.
  3. Pinterest – I love Pinterest! It’s one of the best places to get traffic for your blog.
  4. Facebook groups – using Facebook groups┬áhas been one of the best strategies I’ve found of glowing my blog. If you’re not using Facebook groups to share your blog posts in you’re missing out. It’s a great way to build a following by interacting with other blogs on the groups.
  5. Twitter – Twitter is a slower platform to gain traffic from but it can be a great way of gaining new followers and growing your traffic.
  6. Google Plus – This is often an overlooked social media platform but it’s always a good idea to share your post on Google plus as it helps rank your posts and blog higher in Google.
  7. LinkedIn and LinkedIn groups – LinkedIn is another overlooked platform since it’s thought my some to be just a place to find jobs on, but there are hundreds of LinkedIn groups where you can ch=share your posts and start building a following there by interacting with the groups.
  8. Quora blogs – an online forum where people can ask questions, but they also now have a special blog function where you can share your posts on there.
  9. StumbleUpon – StumbleUpon is another great social media platform for bloggers to share their posts on.
  10. Tribber – Tribber is a platform where you join blog tribes. Once you join you can join different tribes then share your blog posts on there. It’s been a great source of traffic for me since I started using it.

Where do you like sharing your blog posts?

  • Ive never heard of Tribbler! Looking into that one today!

    • Tribber is brilliant, going to write a post next week about it.

  • This is an excellent list with some I’m not familiar with. Sharing on blogging FB groups (following their terms, of course) can be very helpful also. Thanks so much for this comprehensive list. I’m sharing it around my social media, too!

  • I’ve never heard of Tribber either! I usually use my own FB, FB groups, instagram and Pinterest, but I need to try my best more!

  • This is great info! I keep forgetting about Pinterest! Definitely will use this! How can I sub to this blog!

  • Can’t wait to try Triberr! My blog is desperately needing traffic. Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks for this Tiffany!

I’m 7/10 right now. Haven’t been on Quora or the two as yet. It’s on my expansion list, since Pinterest, Twitter + Facebook take up the most of my promoting already.

  • I had not thought about sharing on LinkedIn very recently. I also have not tried Quora so maybe I will check that out soon! Thank you for sharing these tips!

  • Great list. I would hook up with Bloglovin & Blogarama too. Those guys offer me traffic because they hook into my rss feed. In fact, skip the forums like quora in the beginning and work on building social bookmarking that hooks into your rss feed. Simple just google rss feed directories. Once in, they will generally update their directories to add your latest feed.

  • Jo

Yeah, I’ve also never heard of Tribber, checking it out!

  • Tribber is new for me! I’ll have to check it out! I’ve also been hearing a lot about Quora lately too, so that’s now on my list. Thanks so much for sharing!

  • I haven’t heard of Tribber but I’m now intrigued!

  • Great advice! I use most of these already!

  • I find that I don’t have time to publish my blog on all these platforms so I try to find the places that have the highest response. For me, that is using Facebook and Pinterest.

  • This is really helpful! I love the Facebook groups, because it’s a solid group of dedicated and helpful people!

  • I share mine on a majority of these. There are a few I haven’t heard of so definitely checking them out!

  • StumbleUpon has been a huge traffic source for me. I’ve never heard of Tribber. I’ll definitely be checking it out!
